What we take

Liquid-filled pad-mount and pole-mount units, dry-type ventilated and cast-coil transformers, unit substations with their primary and secondary sections, station-class power transformers, auto-transformers, buck-boost units, rectifier and furnace transformers, and control and isolation transformers by the pallet. Copper and aluminum windings both.

What sets the number

kVA rating, winding metal, voltage class and oil condition. A copper-wound pad-mount unit with clean oil and a legible nameplate prices well above its metal content because it goes back into service. A unit with a suspected PCB history, a leaking tank or an unreadable nameplate prices on core-and-coil recovery, and we will tell you plainly which category yours falls into.

Oil and PCB handling

Oil is the part sellers worry about. We test, drain and manifest oil through licensed handlers and provide the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units are handled under their own profile. Nothing gets left on your pad and nothing gets dumped.
