What we take
Lighting and distribution panelboards, I-Line and equivalent bolt-on panels, front-accessible and rear-connected switchboards, main breaker and main lug panels, meter stacks, fused and non-fused safety switches, and loose breakers by the box. Discontinued panels with hard-to-find interiors are especially worth calling about.
What sets the number
Interior style, bus rating and breaker population. A panel full of current bolt-on breakers is worth well more than the enclosure it sits in — breakers are the value. Obsolete interiors that no one manufactures still command real money as replacement stock. Rusted enclosures with burned bus price as copper, aluminum and steel.
How we get it out
Panels come off the wall or out of the electrical room after lockout. We pull the feeders back to the gland, unbolt, carry out and load. Multi-floor buildings are routine; we stage by floor and pull to the dock.
